During the last training session, the previously announced opponent of Denis Țapu, Bogdan Suru, suffered a head injury and will not be able to compete. He will be replaced by his fellow countryman, representing the Romanian club VIITORUL, Florin Soare.
Florin, despite the fight being accepted on short notice, is ready to demonstrate his determination and qualities. He is 23 years old, trained by Radu Medeleanu at the VIITORUL club in Constanța. He stands at 175 cm, weighs 75 kg, and boasts an impressive record of 17 wins and 6 losses. So, the fight promises to be very dynamic!
Țapu has had two very successful fights within the FEA Championship project, winning ahead of schedule against Panainte in September 2022 and via unanimous decision against the Italian fighter, Sette, in December 2022. After a brief hiatus, he is ready to once again thrill his fans on September 23!
