May the 20 th 2017, at General Media Group, will take place the fifth mixed martial arts tournament Eagles V. The tournament organized by FEA association on 20 th of May will consist of two parts. The first one, EAGLES ELIMINATION, will include superfights, the winners of which will be able to qualify for the title fights in the EAGLES FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP section.
The second part, EAGLES FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP is the main event, including two semifinal fights in the lightweight division up to 66 kg and the title fight for the championship in the bantamweight category. This is a real spring bomb in the world of MMA. Thus, in the up to 66 kg semifinals, the Republic of Moldova will be represented by the pupil of Lion Club, Daniel Filipsky, by the way, his „offender”, a fighter from Romania, Radu Mihaita, who defeated Daniel at the beginning of this year at EAGLES IV tournament, will participate in the other semifinal.
At the moment, these are the best of the best in the lightweight division of MMA. The two winners of these semifinals will challenge the right for the championship belt at the next EAGLES VI tournament, which will take place in the Moldovan capital until the end of 2017.
The main event of the evening will be the title fight between Mihail Sirbu and the Ukrainian fighter, Dmitry Predebaylo, who will battle for the championship belt in the bantamweight division, up to 62 kg. To be noted that the participants of the title fight paved their way to the final trough difficult confrontations, in the first semifinal Predebaylo obtained an early victory in the fight with Aliyev, and Sirbu finished Amirov Nabi. The 20th of May is the moment of truth!
All the fighters represent different clubs, but they all have one goal – victory! They went to it for a very long time. Years of grueling training will finally bring them to the bottom line, which will be crossed only by those who are better and more diligently prepared. Who is ready to go till the end and who has nerves and character made of steel?
