Breaking news!!! Sergey Adamchuk isn’t going to be able to partake in FEA WORLD GP ODESSA tournament!!!
Unfortunately, the Ukrainian fighter Sergey Adamchuk, won’t be able to participate at FEA WORLD GP ODESSA tournament, which will take place the 24th of August in Odessa.
As prior announced, he was supposed to fight under 65 kg against the Norwegian fighter, Simon Santana. He, as a true patriot, was going to entertain all Ukrainian fans with a first-rate performance, but sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. Adamchuk stated that Glory promotion, where he is under contract for more than a year, didn’t allow him to perform. Even after a verbal consent, GLORY protested the already planned participation of the Ukrainian striker. Naturally, between the famed promotions there is an implicit agreement that the fighters under their contract
may fight for another organization only with their authorization.
But usually, all the serious organizations rule in favor of the fighter when the matter is about competing in their homeland. At least, all well-known companies are guided by such ethics, including FEA.
In this particular situation, Sergey didn’t have a choice, so he was bound to back out from the tournament.
In consequence, he was replaced by Colombian athlete, David Mejia, who will confront Simon Santana instead.
We can only hope than in the future Adamchuk will have the chance to fight in his homeland and will thrill all of his supporters with his mastery.
