FEA Interim TITLE FIGHT (Ukraine) Pavel Zhuravlev vs Mekmet Ozer (Turkey)

Mehmet Ozer will replace Azizpour in the title bout against Pavel Zhuravlev!!!  When talking about sports, especially kickboxing, it often happens that on the last mile some of the fighters fly off the card. This time, for technical motives and unpredicted circumstances, Iraj, unfortunately, will not be able to partake in the title fight.  The FEA Interim Heavyweight Championship Belt bout was scheduled as the main event of the evening of August 24. There were many wishing to fight for the coveted trophy, particularly with such an adversary as Pavel, but in the end, only one was selected, one who meets the criteria and preparation.  The choice is the Turkish fighter, 30-fold champion of Turkey and multiple world champion Mehmet Ozer. This decision was not accidental. Exactly 10 years ago, they boxed as part of the W5 project and at that time, Zhuravlev defeated Mehmet by technical knockout in the 3rd round. Now payback time has come! Ozer will jump at the opportunity and will try to enforce his attack. Pavel will have to work hard to prove that he is worthy of the belt and title.  10 years ago when Zhuravlev won, both fighters were young, now, with tons of experience, they will display considerably more! As for Mehmet, he is 1 year older than Zhuravlev. In his professional kickboxing career, he spent 34 fights, winning 22 and losing 12. He is also the European Thai boxing champion within WMC.  So the upcoming fight is, perhaps, even more exciting!!!
