Moldova will attend in the biggest festival of martial arts in Okinawa
Fighter Nicolae Ceban was named as standard bearer of Moldovan delegation at Olympic Games
After
being named as standard bearer of the Moldovan delegation to opening
ceremony of Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the fighter Nicolae Ceban
declares that he is honored to do it again.
Moldova will be
represented at the Olympic Games 2016 by 21 sportsmen. Nicolae Ceban is
30 years old and is the person with the biggest experience in the
delegation. He participates to the Olympic Games for the third time.
Ceban was the standard bearer of Moldovan delegation at the Olympic
Games 2008, which took place in Beijing.
At the previous summer
Olympic Games, the standard bearer of Moldova was named the archer Dan
Olaru. It happened after the weightlifter Cristina Iovu refused to
participate to the opening ceremony of Olympics in London.
Moldovan boxer Alexei Zavatin was invited to train with Wladimir Klitschko
