Alexander Emelianenko is put on the wanted list in relation to a sexual assualt case, according to Vladimir Markin, official representative of the Russian Investigative Committee.
„Since he absconded during the preliminary investigation and was not present in a given time for interrogation and other investigative actions, Emelianenko is put on the Federal wanted list”, – Vladimir Markin said.
„Investigators beleive that on March 3rd Emelianenko performed violent actions of a sexual nature towards the woman who cleaned his apartment. After that he stole the ID document of the aggrieved from her bag”, – quote from the statement of the Investigative Committee.
Russian heavyweight and younger brother of MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko, Aleksander Emelianenko is reportedly wanted by the Russian authorities and has been placed on the Russian federal wanted list for suspicion of housekeeper abuse and passport theft.

A spokesperson for the country’s Investigative Committee, Vladimir Markin said that the former Pride FC heavyweight fighter had been put on the federal wanted list as „he disappeared and did not appear for questioning at the scheduled time,” adding that charges were forthcoming.
This isn’t the first time Alexander’s been in trouble with the law. He was fined for „hooliganism” back in 2013 for an altercation on an airplane. A couple of months later he was detained by police after a brawl in a cafe in Moscow.
Alexander is the younger brother of MMA legend and Pride world heavyweight champion, Fedor Emelianenko. Alexander, who has a professional MMA record of 23-7-0 and is a three-time Russian national Combat Sambo champion and three-time world Combat Sambo champion in the absolute division. Alexander has fought the likes of Mirko Filipović, James Thompson, Josh Barnett, Fabricio Werdum and Jeff Monson.
