Ruslan Karaev (born May 19, 1983) – professional kikbokser, champion of the world\’s Grand Prix K-1 2005 in Las Vegas. There are currently lives and trains in Tokyo, Japan. 
Biography and Career 
August 13, 2005 Ruslan Karaev debut in the tournament world Grand Prix K-1 2005 in Las Vegas. In the quarter-Garayev met with Freddy Kemayo from France and won the bout by KO in the first round, which struck a powerful blow with his foot to turn in the liver. In the semi Garayev met with Azemom Maksutaem specializing in muay-tai. This battle later recognized as one of the best in the history of K-1. Karayev triumphantly concluded the this evening, winning a unanimous decision of the judges of American Scott Laity, and received the crown of champions tournament. 
September 23, 2005 during a qualifying tournament, the world\’s Grand Prix K-1 Final Elimination in Osaka Dome, Japan, Garayev met a Swede Ricardo Nordstrandom, which replaced the four world champion Ernesto Hust, refuse to participate in the tournament because of a leg injury . Ruslan won the fight by unanimous decision of the judges and earn their right to participate in the final tournament of World Grand Prix K-1 2005 
Ruslan has completed his first season at K-1 19 November 2005 in Tokyo Dome in chetvertfinalnom duel with Musashi. Ruslan lost the fight on points after extra round. 
June 23, 2007 during the World Grand Prix K-1 2007 in Amsterdam Ruslan for the third time in a row suffered a knockout defeat of Melvin Manhofa. 
Ruslan had not declared the fight against Jerome Le Banner September 29, 2007 qualifying tournament for the World Grand Prix K-1 2007 Final Elimination in Seoul, as well as a few days before the fight got in a car accident.
