Heavyweight fight at EAGLES IX, Viorel Lipa against Shota Betlemidze.
On 26th of May there’s been scheduled a super-fight in the heavyweight division between the Moldovan fighter Viorel Lipa and the fighter from Georgia, Shota Betlemidze.
Viorel is already known to the public. Sadly, he lost twice in the EAGLES cage, in front of the Ucrainean fighter, Iurii Proțenko. But now he comes back with fresh powers and ambitions.
His May 26th opponent is the famed Georgian, Shota Betlemidze, who managed to record 6 wins and 1 loss (what’s interesting is that the loss he suffered was in front of the EAGLES heavyweight champion, Alexander Romanov).
Viorel, throughout his career, won only once out of six fights.
„Regarding Viorel, he is in a great shape, we put more emphasis on the standing up fight, but we don’t forget about the ground as well” said the coach, Vladislav Belinschi.
„I feel ready, I want to show a spectacular fight, and of course I don’t want to disappoint my friends,” stated Viorel Lipa.
