Grand Prix 4-man tournament in the 85kg category – Maxim Zaplitnii is set to make a triumphant return in the Final 4!
The upcoming FEA LEGACY tournament becomes even more interesting with the Grand Prix 4-man tournament in the 85kg category, scheduled for March 30th, featuring Maxim Zaplitnii. It can be confidently stated that he will exert every effort to secure victory in the upcoming Grand Prix and then confront Alexey Liubchenko, to whom he lost by decision in the recent Grand Prix 4-man tournament of the FEA EQUINOX. Recall that on September 23, 2023, in the first semifinal, he won against the Turkish fighter, Berk Duzenli but lost by decision to Liubchenko in the final. If Maxim secures victory on March 30th, the next step will be a title fight against the Ukrainian, Liubchenko.
Maxim is an employee of FULGER, one of Moldova’s legendary special units. Married and raising a son, he is 28 years old, 180cm tall, and weighs 85kg. He trains under the guidance of Mihail Dobrovolsky at the ALLIGATOR club, in the capital. In professional K-1, he has participated in 31 matches, with 23 victories, 7 losses, and one draw. He has also competed in boxing, winning 3 out of 4 matches.
Maxim’s opponent in the first semifinal is announced to be Mikhail Tiuterev! Having previously participated in the FEA project in the 95kg 4-man tournament, he won the semifinal against Samir Boukhidous and suffered defeat to Alexandru Burduja in the final. Now he aims to showcase his skills in the new 85kg category. Mikhail is 36 years old, stands at 184cm, and weighs between 90-85kg, representing the Czech Republic.His record includes 31 wins and 8 losses.
In the second semifinal of the 85kg Grand Prix, the representatives of Turkey, Serdar Yigit Eroglu, and Romania, Vasile Amaritei, are announced.
Eroglu, 27 years old, 186cm tall, and weighing 85kg, has participated in 44 professional matches with 22 victories, 1 losses and 1 draws. Notably, half of Serdar’s victories come by knockout, earning him the nickname “The Killer.”
The Romanian representative, Vasile Amaritei, is the tallest fighter in the 4-man tournament, standing at an impressive 194cm. At 24 years old, he is also the youngest participant, yet he boasts a commendable record of 18 wins and 6 losses. He undergoes training at the Kickbox Scobinti club.
