FEA CHAMPIONSHIP announces a new division: -60kg (FEA CHAMPIONSHIP BANTAMWEIGHT K-1 Rules).
Over the course of 14 years of work and development of professional K-1 and MMA, the FEA Association has always kept pace with the times, introducing its own innovations that improved both the quality of fight shows and popularization of sports in the community. In 2016, with the advent of the EAGLES FC MMA project, fights were held for the first time, both according to the rules of MMA and according to the rules of K-1, in a cage. This innovation was very well received. And many organizations followed suit and began holding K-1 fights in an MMA cage.
In 2022, FEA President, Dorin Damir, decided to combine 2 projects into 1. FEA KICKBOXING and the EAGLES FC MMA projects were merged into one – FEA CHAMPIONSHIP, within which fights are held according to the rules of K-1 and MMA. Since the weight categories of MMA and K-1 are almost the same, FEA CHAMPIONSHIP announces a new division: BANTAMWEIGHT K-1 Rules, up to 60kg. In this category there are a lot of both already experienced and young fighters who are ready to prove themselves and show good and high-quality fights. So, this innovation will start the development and strengthening of this division and the emergence of the first champions in this category.
