Champion Vitalie Matei and title contender Victor Apostol share interesting facts from their lives.

Vitalie Matei –  I am from the village of Niscani, Calarasi district. By the way, Pavel Stratan is also from there. I’ve been practicing sports for over 23 years, including kickboxing and Muay Thai.  On March 15, at Futsal Arena Ciorescu, I will be defending my FEA champion title. I encourage everyone to come and support your favorite athletes.  It’s going to be very, very interesting. I believe this kind of evening has never been seen before.  So, we’re waiting for all of you! March 15!

 

Victor Apostol – Yes, the story with Giorgio is quite interesting. It all started in my childhood. As soon as I stepped into the sports hall, I learned about kickboxing and began practicing it. I also started following fighters. And what impressed me the most was Giorgio, with his style and fighting technique. I began participating in competitions and taking top places. Then I moved to the professionals. And when I became a professional, I realized I needed to get to Giorgio’s gym. In 2020, I fulfilled my dream and goal. On June 13, 2020, I walked into Giorgio Petrosyan’s gym and started training with him. If I could go back in time and meet myself, I would advise myself: spend less time with girls and more time in the gym and on sports. I came for what is mine, with full respect and admiration for Vitale. I must become a champion.
