Alexandru Burduja – "I want to finish the year with a victory."

On October 6th, in the third part of the big show FEA WORLD GRAND PRIX 2018, Alexandru Burduja will fight against the fighter from Armenia, Yegish Yegoyan. The match will take place in the up to 95 kg weight category.

It is the second fight of this year for Burduja. In March of this year, he overpowered a fighter from Romania, Danut Hurduc. The current opponent, Yegoyan, is more experienced and therefore more dangerous, but Alexandru intends to win the upcoming bout.

“Sure, the current adversary is very experienced. I saw his fights are at a very high level. He used to fight in the heavyweight division. It’s going to be a bit difficult. But I\’m preparing very intensively, 2 training sessions a day.  I focus on the footwork. And my goal is to complete the year with a victory „- said Alexandru Burduja.

“We studied how Yegoyan works. We saw his mistakes. We will work for the win. This is one of the most dangerous fighters, and it is the 95kg category, where one strike can decide everything” – stated the coach, Anatol Ignat.

Alexandru Burduja is 27 years old and he trains at the capital club Thai Star, in his career, he had 17 fights, 10 of which he won and lost 7.

Yegish Yegoyan is also 27 years old, born in Armenia, but lives and trains in the Netherlands; he had 41 bouts, 31 of which were victories.
