Young athletes competed for championships

The competition, held in Polyvalent Hall, attended by about a hundred competitors from fifteen localities of Moldova.

In the final match, in the weight category of 64 kg, Alexander Sokolov Grimancauti bypassed by most points scored by Igor Ivarlaka Tiraspol. Two championship titles went to the disciples Hyncheshtsky area sports school – Alexander Arkush (weight category 56 kg) and Julian Ivanov (weight category 49 kg). In the near future the two winners will take part in a mass match.

Youth Championship is a test for the new generation of boxers that have a good chance in the near future to replenish the national team.

It should be noted that the leading team of Moldova next week will go to the European Championship in Minsk, which will be held from 17 to 26 May.
