Here’s gift for all the fans of EAGLES MMA project. The main event of EAGLES 11 tournament is announced !!! 

Dorin Damir – Founder and organizer of EAGLES FC publicized that within the main event of EAGLES 11, which will take place on February 16th, for the vacant EAGLES belt, up to 66kg category, two excellent fighters will come together in a title fight. Valeriu Mircea against Andrei Barbarosa. 

Both contenders are representing the Republic of Moldova. But Valeriu Mircea currently lives and trains in Italy at the famous club GLORIA, and Andrei Barbarosa is the member of Thai Boxing Club from the capital.

They have different upbringings, therefore, the match will be very exciting as well. Both Barbarosa and Mircea completed the year of 2018 with victories. Andrei won his last fight abroad, on November 15th, against the Israeli fighter, Honor Keles, within the BELLATOR 209 tournament which took place in Israel. Meanwhile Mircea won an undisputable victory over Flavio Pina de Sousa from Brasil, at EAGLES 10 tournament, which was held on November 3rd of this year, in Chisinau.

It is worth mentioning that Mircea had formerly fought at Bellator but decided to go to EAGLES project.  Andrei, on the contrary, chose to try his hand at Bellator. Also to be noted that both athletes previously performed in the heavier category, up to 71kg. But came to the conclusion they have to move to the lower category and go for the vacant belt.

“I am confident that the bout will be very captivating, both title candidates had already begun their preparation. At stake is the vacant belt of the absolute championship in the EAGLES up to 66 kg category, this says it all” – declared Dorin Damir – founder and organizer of EAGLES tournaments.

Valeriu Mircea is 25 years old, scored 21 victories, lost 5 matches and 1 ended with a draw.

Andrew Barbarosa is 29 years old, attained 6 wins and suffered 6 defeats.
