The 7th of December the FEA WORLD GP CHISINAU will host the Grand Prix tournament in the 65 kg division!

In the semifinals of the Grand Prix, Marin Vetrila will enter the ring against Zahar Pavelko and Simon Santana will meet  Cristian Spetcu. The winner of this Grand Prix will challenge his right to the championship in the title fight against the reigning champion, Stanislav Renita, in 2020.

The first semifinal. Marin Vetrila, the representative of the Moldavian club LION, has repeatedly won in the professional ring. His record consists of 3 victories ahead of schedule and one defeat by decision. Marin does wonderful work with his arms; it’s hard to counterattack under his blows, as he proved countless times. He is 19 years old and has a height of 178 cm, which gives him a good advantage over his opponents.

His opponent is the young Ukrainian athlete, Zahar Pavelko, who can flaunt his 9 pro fights, 6 wins, and 3 losses as well.  Pavelko is 18 years old and has a height of 170 cm. To be noted that in his last match against the Belarusian fighter, Oleg Likhtorovich, although he lost, he showcased resilience.

In the second semi-final, the renowned and experienced Norwegian fighter, Simon Santana, will meet the Romanian representative, Cristian Spetcu. The fight is set to be more than spectacular!!! Both fighters are already seasoned professionals!!!

Simon Santana obtained 38 victories in his entire career, suffered 14 defeats and ended one fight in a draw. He is 30 years old, his height is 172 cm and he is the owner of several international titles!!!

 

Cristian Spetcu is the understudy of the famous Romanian fighter, Ciprian Sora. Spetcu has previously taken part in a Grand Prix in Chisinau in March of this year. Then, in the semifinals, he lost by decision to the current champion, Stanislav Renita. Naturally, he didn’t agree, but the decision was final. And here he is yet again ready to go the hard way in order to challenge Renita at a title fight in 2020. But for this, he needs to win the 4 man Grand Prix in the 65kg division on December the 7th.

All of the contenders aim for the victory. They all deserve to be the winner of the Grand Prix, but only one of them will be awarded the coveted cup and the right to fight for the title. We will find out whom on the 7th of December!!!
