European champion, Anastasia Nikita was rewarded by the President of the Union of Contact Sports Federations of the Republic of Moldova (UFSC), Dorin Damir.

As a result, was put to discussion the UFSC’s  support  in Anastasia’s  preparing  process  for international tournaments, as well as for the 2020 Olympics, which will be held in Tokyo.

To be noted that Nikita won the gold medal at the European Championship, which was held in Serbia in the city of Novi Sad from the 4th to the 10th of March.

On her way to the cherished medal, Anastasia won in front of Serbian representative, Anna Fabian, and Russian athlete,  Zelfira Zadraddinova.

Anastasia was awarded a prize, as well as sports equipment.

“We’re very proud of Anastasia Nikita, this girl showed the whole World that in Republic of Moldova wrestling also exists. And that it’ is one of the most popular sports in our country. We wish her health and good luck. Ahead of her there are many international tournaments yet to come, but the most important one will be the participation at the 2020 Olympics, in Tokyo” –stated UFSC president, Dorin Damir.
